Probleme mit statischer Aufladung (CSS SQ)
In order to cross out an issue on the hardware side, we recommend performing the following:
(Warning: The following step requires disassembling parts of the product! In case you may not feel confident in doing so, please skip this and reply to this email.)
1. Follow the linked manual below:
→ (ATTACH FILE HERE!)
2. Unscrew the shift knob from the shifter unit and unscrew the 4 screws on the top corners of the unit.
3. Remove the top cover very slowly until you are able to see and disconnect the sequential switch connection. This will allow you to remove the cover entirely.
4. Disconnect all the cables from their sockets, and reconnect them again.
5. Slightly increase the resistance of the shifter by tightening the resistance screw on the side of the unit.
6. Re-calibrate the shifter as described in the video, and test again in the Fanatec Control Panel. The following link will take you to the video.
In case the issue persists, we advise opening a support ticket. In order to speed up the support process, it would be helpful if you could also provide us with the following additional information:
- Did the issue occur out of the box?
- Does the issue happen after a change in your setup, such as upgrading or replacing existing software or hardware?
- A short video illustrating the issue.
