Do I need to update my devices when I receive them?

Updating your devices is not strictly required, but it is strongly recommended. Depending on how much time has passed between production and delivery, your products may not have the latest firmware installed. Updates can include new features, performance improvements, and bug fixes.

For the best experience, we recommend connecting all devices to a Windows PC first, even if you plan to use them on a console, to install the latest updates. The process only takes a few minutes.

To get started, visit the Fanatec website and download the latest driver from the Software section. The package includes all current firmware versions. After installing the driver, you can update your devices using the Fanatec app.
