How to exchange the vibration motors of the CSP V3

Attention: The steps listed involve disassembling certain components of the product. A detailed manual is attached at the bottom of this article, which explains each step with both images and text for your reference.

Tools needed:

Hex key 4 x 110mm

Ratchet

Socket wrench insert 10

Dentist tool

The throttle or clutch sensor can be ordered directly from our spare parts shop.

Please follow all steps carefully, proceeding step by step:

Remove the heel rest plate

Unplug vibration motor from main PCBA

With a socket wrench, insert 10 remove the nut which holds vibration motor holder

Remove the vibration motor from pedals and holder

Take new vibration motor with dentist tool, push the pins in plastic cup and pull out the cable

With dentist tool fix pins on the end of cable, push them up

(Be careful not to break the pins!)

Pull the vibration motor cable under joint and rod

Turn back pins into the plastic cup

Put vibration motor into the holder

With socket wrench insert 10, turn back nut which holds vibration motor holder in place

Attach the heel rest plate

Once you have performed the steps listed above, connect the CSP V3 to your PC or wheel base, open the Fanatec app and verify the proper functionality of your device(s).
