How to exchange the main PCBA of the CSP V3

Attention: The steps listed involve disassembling certain components of the product. A detailed manual is attached at the bottom of this article, which explains each step with both images and text for your reference.

Tools needed:

Hex key 4 x 110mm

Ratchet

Socket wrench insert 5.5

Hammer

The main PCBA can be ordered directly from our spare parts shop.

Please follow all steps carefully, proceeding step by step:

Unplug throttle, brake and clutch RJ12 cables from main PCBA

Place the 4 mm Hex key on the screw and kick it a bit with a hammer so it fits better

Unscrew the screw with the hex key

(Repeat steps 2 and 3 with remaining two screws)

Remove the heel rest plate and place it safely

Unplug both vibration motor cables from main PCBA

With Socket wrench insert 5.5, remove 4 nuts which hold main PCBA

Remove main PCBA

Put new PCBA on its place

turn back 4 nuts with Socket wrench insert 5.5

Plug in vibration motor cables in ports on main PCBA

Turn back the heel rest plate on its place

With the hex key, turn back 3 screws which hold heel rest plate

Plug in throttle, brake and clutch RJ12 cables in main PCBA

Once you have performed the steps listed above, connect the CSP V3 to your PC or wheel base, open the Fanatec app and verify the proper functionality of your device(s).
