The Fanatec app cannot be installed - a message appears stating that an older version is already installed
If you’re unable to install the latest version of the Fanatec app because you keep receiving a message from your PC saying that a version of the app is already installed, please follow the steps below:
Check for any pending Windows updates
If any updates are available, make sure to install them
Reboot your PC
Open "Programs and Features" on your PC
Uninstall Driving Coach AI software Track Titan or Trophi AI
Uninstall Eclipse Mosquitto "MQTT"
Restart your PC
After the restart, open "Programs and Features" again and try to uninstall the Fanatec app
If the uninstallation is successful, please restart your PC again
Download and install the latest version of the Fanatec app using this link
After the installation is complete, restart your PC
Then open the Fanatec app and verify the proper functionality of your device(s).
