My connected product isn't working when using the ClubSport USB Adapter
If a shifter (or other device) is connected to the USB adapter, and the adapter is recognized in the Fanatec app but no input is detected from the connected device, the USB adapter may be in the wrong mode. Each product (like pedals, handbrakes, and shifters) has its own specific mode for the USB adapter.
Please try the following steps to resolve the issue:
Download and install the latest Fanatec app.
You can install the latest Fanatec app via this link.
Connect your device via its included RJ12 cable to the USB adapter.
Connect the USB adapter to a USB 2 port on your PC.
We recommend connecting it to a USB port directly on the motherboard and not using any extension cables or hubs.
Open the Fanatec app.
By default, the device is delivered with the firmware for the ClubSport Shifter.
If you want to use the CSL Pedals or ClubSport Handbrakes, you need to change the mode of the USB adapter.
Select the device that currently shows the USB symbol next to it.
Click on "CHANGE MODE OF USB ADAPTER".
Select your device, click on "Start Update" and wait until the process is completed.
Once you have performed the steps listed above, open the app again and verify the proper functionality of your device(s).
We also recommend double-checking that it functions correctly within the game.
If the issue persists, we recommend that you submit a ticket to our technical support team for further assistance.
