The game telemetry function of the Fanatec app is no longer working
Symptoms
- Vehicle speed, gear information, or other telemetry data is no longer displayed on the steering wheel screen.
- Rev LEDs are no longer functioning during gameplay.
- Telemetry-related features stop updating while the game is running.
Cause
This issue may occur when telemetry data from the game is no longer being transmitted to the Fanatec app. This can happen if:
- The Fanatec app has been running in the background while switching between games.
- The app has stopped responding or crashed.
- The telemetry connection between the game and the app has been interrupted.
How to Verify the Issue
- Open the Fanatec app.
- Navigate to Settings.
- Locate the Telemetry Feed section.
- Check whether telemetry data is being received and updated.
If no data is displayed, or the values are no longer updating while the game is still running, this indicates that the telemetry feed has stopped working correctly.
Workaround
Restart the Fanatec app and verify that telemetry data is updating again. If the issue persists, reboot your PC and relaunch both the Fanatec app and the game. This should restore the telemetry connection in most cases.
