Fanatec Wheel Hub – PC Use Only

How Does the Wheel Hub Work?

The hub provides the mechanical and electronic connection between the Fanatec wheel base and a compatible third-party steering wheel. However, it does not provide power or data transmission for the third-party wheel itself.

If your third-party steering wheel uses USB for buttons, displays, or other functions, it must be connected directly to the PC using a separate USB cable.

Can I Use the Wheel Hub on PlayStation?

No. While PlayStation compatibility is generally provided by the wheel base, the Fanatec Wheel Hub does not enable third-party steering wheel controls to function on PlayStation consoles.

Button inputs from third-party steering wheels are typically transmitted via USB or wireless connections directly to a PC. Since PlayStation systems cannot recognize these inputs through the Wheel Hub, the steering wheel's buttons and controls will not function on the console.
