Do I Need the Fanatec Podium Pedals Mounting Plate and Heel Rest?

The Podium Pedals mounting plate and heel rest is an optional accessory designed to enhance the installation and adjustability of your Podium Pedals.

If you use the Podium Pedals Formula Heel Cups, the mounting plate may be a worthwhile addition if you want to:

• Increase the stiffness of your rig's pedal tray.
• Take advantage of the integrated T-slot system for easier lateral pedal adjustment.
• Use the dedicated mounting location for the connection box.

If you use the three-pedal GT configuration, the mounting plate and heel rest may be a worthwhile addition if you want to:

• Increase the stiffness of your rig's pedal tray.
• Take advantage of the integrated T-slot system for easier lateral pedal adjustment.
• Use the dedicated mounting location for the connection box.
• Add an adjustable heel rest designed specifically for the Podium Pedals.

If none of these features are important for your setup, the Mounting Plate and Heel Rest are not required.
