Gran Turismo DD Extreme Bundle FAQ
The Gran Turismo DD Extreme is one of our most popular Racing Wheel bundles. This FAQ may answer some common questions both PC and console users might have.
Can I adjust the colors of the LED rings on the Gran Turismo DD Extreme Steering Wheel?
Yes, the RGB LED ring colors on the Gran Turismo DD Extreme Steering Wheel can be customized on a supported Windows PC using the Fanatec App.
Note: PlayStation and Xbox do not support our app, and some features on your sim racing setup may not work as they do on PC. Full functionality can only be guaranteed on PC.
For console users, LED color control is handled by game developers through the Fanatec SDK. The Fanatec console SDKs for Xbox and PlayStation act similarly to a PC driver. They must be integrated by game developers into their sim racing titles to ensure compatibility with Fanatec hardware. This integration is also required to access advanced controller features, including full button and axis support, as well as other extended functions.
Through the SDK, developers can enable features such as LED color customization, RevStripe, RevLEDs, additional vibration motors (in wheels and pedals), FullForce technology, display control, and more.
If you are curious about what features the game/software you're playing supports, we recommend checking the game's official pages for more information.
Is the GT Extreme Steering Wheel compatible with other Wheel Bases?
The steering wheel for Gran Turismo® DD Extreme is only compatible with the ClubSport DD / ClubSport DD+ wheel bases.

Can I use the GT DD Extreme Racing Wheel on Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S?

However, the included ClubSport DD+ wheel base can be used on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S when paired with a Fanatec steering wheel that is Xbox-compatible.
