How to locate Part Numbers on Fanatec Products
Your Fanatec product's part number helps us identify the exact model and version of your hardware. You may be asked to provide it when contacting Customer Support, requesting a replacement, or troubleshooting a technical issue.
Not sure what you have? There are a couple of places you can check.
On the Product
Many Fanatec products have an identification label on the device itself. Typically, this will be on the underside of the unit, or somewhere on the rear housing, depending on the unit.
| Product | Where? |
CSL DD Gran Turismo DD Pro ClubSport DD/ClubSport DD+ Podium DD1/Podium Racing Wheel F1 Podium DD (2026) | All product information will be found on the underside of the unit. Note: For the Podium Racing Wheel F1 specifically, this information will be hidden underneath a magnetic carbon fiber panel that can be easily removed |
| Podium DD2 | All product information will be hidden under a magnetic cover on the top of the unit. |
| Steering Wheels | The product information will be found somewhere on the backside of the wheel. Typically, this can be found near the bottom of the rear cover, but it can shift depending on the wheel design. |
| Button Modules | The product information will be found on the backside of the module. |
| Pedals | The product information will be found on the underside of the unit. |
The serial number will typically also be in the same area as the Part Number, so if you're unsure, take a photo of the full product label and send it through your support ticket.
Write down the complete number exactly as printed, including any letters, numbers, or special characters.
On the Original Product Packaging
In addition to being printed on the physical hardware, the product information, part number, and serial number will be printed on the original box the product shipped in.
If you still have your Fanatec product's original box, check the identification label on the packaging. This will be in different positions depending on the product, but the information will be on a sticker with at least two barcodes on it--one with the UPC and the other with the barcode for the serial number.
Some products display their serial number and product identification information together on the packaging label. Most will have them together, but some legacy packaging might have them separated, so be sure to check the full box.

Check Your Fanatec Account
If you don't have the original packaging, or don't feel like unmounting any equipment to find the information you need, but you purchased your products directly from Fanatec, you can find your part number directly through your order history.
Sign in to your account on fanatec.com and select My Orders from the account dashboard.
Click on the order the product in question was purchased on, and you should see the part number in the order details.
This will also be shown on the PDF invoice under the description, as depicted below.
I have a part number and a serial number. What's the difference?
| Part Number | Serial Number |
|---|---|
| Product Model | Identifies your individual device. |
| Helps determine compatibility with other platforms and devices | Important for warranty verification. |
If you can provide both, do so.
