Do I have to update everything when I receive my stuff?

It is not strictly mandatory to update the firmware of all devices when you receive them, but it is strongly recommended to keep all your Fanatec devices update. Especially since quite some time can pass from production until the moment you get the device into your hands. Over time we implement new features, improve performance and fix issues. Therefore we would suggest that you connect all devices to a PC first, even if you will use them on console later one to get the software updated. This process only takes minutes, so we hope that getting/lending a PC for the quick update is possible, even if you're a console only, Mac, Linux/Unix etc. user. 

Please Navigate to our Homepage and download the actual driver from the Driver section. The package contains all the latest firmwares and after installing the driver you can update all of your products via the Fanatec Control Panel.
