My wheel base is not being recognized by PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5
To rule out a potential hardware issue, please follow these steps:
Please inspect the USB-C port located on the rear of the wheel base and the USB cable for any visible damage.
If you observe any damage, please submit a ticket to the technical support team.
Please connect the wheel base to an alternative USB port on the PlayStation, ensuring that the wheel base is set to PlayStation mode.
Confirm that the power button LED is illuminated blue.
Additionally, verify that the Wheel Base is not connected via a USB hub or extension cable, as these can potentially lead to connection issues.
On the software side, we recommend the following:
Check for any pending Windows updates.
These should also be performed if available.
Make sure to have connected your wheel base directly to a Windows PC via a USB connection cable.
Do not use a USB hub or a USB extension cable in order to prevent any issues.
We always recommend plugging the device directly to one of the USB ports located on your PC's motherboard.
Make sure to have any antivirus program(s) disabled.
You can install the latest Fanatec app version by following the link below:

Open the Firmware Update Manager by clicking on the update tab in the Fanatec app and perform all of the available firmware updates.
Once you have performed the steps listed above, open the app again and verify the proper functionality of your device(s).
We also suggest double-checking in game.
If the issue persists, we recommend that you submit a ticket to our technical support team for further assistance.
