Self Help - Quick Release Adapter (QR1) is making an unusual noise

We recommend performing the following:

1. Remove the Quick Release Adapter (QR1) from the steering wheel, and inspect the adapter and steering wheel for any defects or damages. If there is no visible damage, re-attach the QR1, and tighten the screws according to the guide that was provided with the steering wheel.

2. Check the lubrication of the metal balls inside of the Quick Release Adapter. If re-lubrication is required, we recommend technical grease, or Vaseline. Please avoid using any oil based products such as WD40.

3. Attaching the fixing screw included with the steering wheel can potentially reduce any excessive noise.
