Fanatec App v1.6.1.3 Release Notes

v1.6.1.3 of the Fanatec App was released on the forums on September 21st, 2026.

• Fixed App Update button getting stuck on INSTALLING after canceling an update.
• Fixed App getting stuck in a repair loop when the USB device driver installation failed during
  App installation.
• Fixed log files getting excessively large over time.
• Fixed telemetry of Display and LEDs stops working after hotswapping wheels several times.
• Fixed FFB gets lost after hotswapping the wheel while being in game on ClubSport DD and
  Podium DD Bases when a Hub + Button Module is used.

Firmware Versions 
 

Known Issues being worked on

• The Podium DD has some idle vibrations caused by the first FFB hotfix solution, which are still
  planned to be improved in a future firmware update.
• Heavy oscillations can happen on CSL DD and GT DD Pro Bases when resuming driving after
  exiting game menus in some games like R3E, rFactor 2 or BeamNG.drive.
• FullForce strength on CSL DD and GT DD Pro Bases is lower than intended.
• In certain scenarios, the GT DD Pro Base can lose FFB in GT7 with the wheel spinning
  uncontrollably.
• SPR and DPR settings are not working in GT7 menu on GT DD Pro Base.
• Some message screens of the Formula V3 wheel sometimes get stuck and don't clear until
  Tuning Menu is manually opened.
• The Thumb Encoder of the Formula V3 wheel can sometimes trigger double inputs.
• The clutch paddles of the Formula V3 wheel with APM on DD1/DD2, CSL DD/GT DD Pro
  Bases have a delay, and the shift inputs can freeze at some point. As a workaround, disabling
  ITM via the toggle in the Fanatec App helps to mitigate the problem.
• The ITM on the Formula V3 wheel on DD1/DD2, CSL DD/GT DD Pro Bases refreshes very
  slowly.
• The ITM on the Formula V3 wheel and GT Extreme wheel can sometimes switch to the black
  Legacy page; when a favourite page is set, it will recover itself after the temporary display
  duration time.
• The QR connection to wheels can get lost until a base restart when navigating through the
  Tuning Menu on ClubSport DD or new Podium DD Base with the GT Extreme wheel.
  The OLED Display of the Formula V2.5 and the BMR are not working when powering on the
  Base with these wheels attached.
• The FunkySwitch rotational inputs of the BME are not registered properly on ClubSport DD
  and Podium DD Bases.
• Old Legacy analogue pedals like the ClubSport Pedals V2 are not recognized when
  connected via RJ12 to a Base.
• During App installation, it can happen that the previous App version does not get uninstalled
  properly. A PC restart often helps to clear any open pending tasks which might block the
  uninstallation process. To make the restart easier, we have implemented a Restart button in
  case the uninstallation failed.
• The telemetry data and LEDs can be delayed, which can cause a freeze of the Display data
  and LEDs.The Fanatec Mobile App is currently not working with the Fanatec Windows App. A full rework
  of the Mobile App is in development to support the Windows App.
• When using SEN Auto in F1 games, the steering angle is screwed after the game is closed
  until the PC is restarted. This is a game issue with F1 games that the game developer needs
  to fix. Until then, it is recommended to adjust the SEN manually for F1 games.
