Known Firmware and App issues being worked on
- Podium DD can exhibit vibrations when idle following the initial FFB hotfix. Improvements are planned for a future firmware update.
- ClubSport DD and Podium DD Bases may fail to detect steering wheels through the QR connection after an unexpected loss of power, such as a smart power strip being switched off or the power cable being disconnected.
- On ClubSport DD and Podium DD Bases with the Gran Turismo DD Extreme steering wheel attached, navigating the Tuning Menu can cause the QR connection to be lost until the Wheel Base is restarted.
- Podium Button Module Endurance FunkySwitch rotational inputs are not registered correctly on ClubSport DD and Podium DD Bases.
- On ClubSport DD and Podium DD Bases, switching Podium Button Module Endurance ITM pages using the button combination can trigger an MPS encoder input when the Tuning Menu button is released.
- The Podium Button Module Endurance can occasionally lose its connection to the Hub on ClubSport DD and Podium DD Bases.
- When using the Podium Button Module Endurance with a Gran Turismo DD Pro Base on PlayStation, the triangle/circle buttons and the PS/R3 buttons share the same inputs at the same time.
- CSL DD and Gran Turismo DD Pro Bases can exhibit oscillations when driving resumes after leaving in-game menus in some games, including Gran Turismo 7, RaceRoom, rFactor 2, and BeamNG.drive.
- FullForce strength is lower than intended on CSL DD and Gran Turismo DD Pro Bases.
- In certain situations, Gran Turismo DD Pro can lose force feedback in Gran Turismo 7, causing the steering wheel to spin uncontrollably.
- Attaching the ClubSport F1 Esports V2 wheel to a CSL DD or Gran Turismo DD Pro Base can cause the Wheel Base to shut down and enter bootloader mode.
- When using the ClubSport Formula V3 wheel with a Podium Advanced Paddle Module on Podium DD1/DD2, CSL DD, or Gran Turismo DD Pro Base, clutch paddle inputs can be delayed and shift inputs may stop responding. Disabling ITM using the toggle in the Fanatec App can help mitigate this issue.
- ITM pages on the ClubSport Formula V3 wheel refresh slowly when used with Podium DD1/DD2, CSL DD, and Gran Turismo DD Pro Bases.
- Some messages on the ClubSport Formula V3 steering wheel display can remain on screen until the Tuning Menu is opened manually.
- The ClubSport Formula V3 steering wheel’s thumb-reachable rotary dials can occasionally register double inputs.
- OLED displays on the ClubSport Formula V2.5 wheel and Podium Button Module Rally do not work on the first connection to a Base, but work normally on subsequent connections.
- Some Auto LED presets are out of sync with the in-game LEDs following changes to LED values in recent game updates. The affected presets require updating.
- The Fanatec Mobile App is currently non-functional. A full rework is in development.
Known issues not caused by Fanatec App/Firmware
- When using SEN Auto in EA Sports F1 games, the steering angle remains incorrect after the game is closed until the PC is restarted. Until this issue is addressed by the game developer, we recommend setting SEN manually when playing F1 games.
